What Is DLD In Computer Science?

 DLD stands for digital logic design

 Logic design is a system in electrical and computer engineering that
uses simple numbers to generate input
and output commands.
 You may be able to assist in developing cell phones, computers, and
other electronic devices as a digital design engineer.
History of Digital Logic Design
 it is used to perform logical operations, making up of circuits and
how to operate digital signals, use of analog signals by using
analog circuits,
 in short, it’s all about designing making and operate different
circuits at different part of daily life and that are further used in
enhancing the technology.
 There are only two states in a digital state that are either 0 or 1 it
is also known as discrete level.
 In order to perform boolean operations we use transistors to create
logic gates.
 while talking about the Konrad Zuse, he was a German civil
engineer, inventor, computer scientist, and computer pioneer. he
was the man behind the making of worlds first programmable
computer .
 There are gates in DLD we used different gates to make certain
circuits. it is made up of large assemblies using logic gates. It
was firstly designed by Konrad Zuse it was an electromechanical
computer named Z3, it takes space of a large room and used the
power of hundred of personal computers.
Why We Use DLD In Computer Science?

 Logic plays a crucial role in the creation of electronic devices.

 In addition to creating circuits and logic gates, it is also used to check
computer chips.
 It is not uncommon for computer technology designers and engineers
to possess knowledge of digital logic
What Is The Use Of Digital Logic Design Course?

 Students can gain practical experience through digital logic courses or

programs.
 When building computer hardware using simple algorithms and inputs,
they learn to store information on computers, such as documents,
images, sounds, and movies, using simple ones and zeroes.
What Is The Use Of DLD?

 Circuit boards and microchip processors are examples of

hardware that are developed using digital logic design.
 In navigation systems, cell phones, and other high-tech
systems, this hardware processes user input, system
protocol, and other data.
What Is The Importance Of Dld In
Computer Science?
 In electrical and computer engineering, digital logic
design is a method of producing input and output
operations using simple numerical values.
 You may be able to assist in developing cell phones,
computers, and other electronic devices as a digital design
engineer.
How Logic Is Used In Computer
Science?
 Artificial intelligence and databases are both made of
logic. Logic, however, does not only help computers to see
the world, it also allows them to look for logical errors in
other computers. In the same way as humans, it is similar
to the way we think
Is Digital Logic Design Important In
Computer Science Engineering?
 Logic is a key component of electronic and computer
engineering. In addition to engineering careers, digital
logic is also essential for many other fields in engineering.
 It is also necessary to study digital logic in order to pursue
a career in testing and repairing electronic equipment
What Is The Importance Of Logic
Design?
 Digital circuits are built on logic gates, which are the
building blocks. Electronic engineers can design highly
complex systems that enable modern technologies by
understanding the relationships between the various gates
logic.
What Is Taught In Digital Logic?

 This course will provide the student with a fundamental

understanding of digital logic circuits, from binary
representations of digital circuits to Boolean expressions
extraction, to minimization techniques to further optimize
circuits, as well as designing their own digital logic
 Number System and Representation.
 Boolean Algebra and Logic Gates
 Combinational Logic Circuits
