Who was?

Louis Pasteur was a French chemist, physicist, mathematician, and


bacteriologist, whose discoveries were of enormous importance in
various fields of natural sciences, especially chemistry and
microbiology.
What is the most important thing Louis
Pasteur did?
To him we owe the creation of the technique known as
pasteurization. With his microbial theories he led to the
development of vaccines, antibiotics, sterilization and hygiene, as
effective methods of cure and prevention against the spread of
infectious diseases.
what did it show?

As a conclusion to his investigations, which constitute a model of


scientific insight, Pasteur demonstrated the falsehood of the concept of
spontaneous generation, even for the simplest microorganisms.
What were his contributions to science?
His main contributions were: pasteurization, vaccine
development, fermentation and the rabies vaccine, among
others.
