REGULATORY DOCUMENTS
Regulatory documents are otherwise called as Official
documents, because most of these documents are required for
compliance of regulations of either the exporter’s country or the
importer’s country.

EXPORT DECLARATION FORM


 Required documents for exporters to declare the export of
goods from one country to another.
 Contains important information about the goods being
exported, such as their description, value, quantity, country
of origin, and destination.
 Helps to ensure that the goods being exported comply with
all applicable laws and regulations.

Export Certificates:
 Certifies that certain goods meet the requirements for export to another country.
 Verifies that the goods being exported have undergone the necessary inspections, tests, and other procedures
required by the importing country.
 Provides information about the quality, safety, and health standards of the goods being exported.
 Facilitates international trade by ensuring that the goods being exported meet the standards of the importing
country.
 Usually issued by government agencies or authorized third-party organizations.

Certificate of Origin
 A Certificate of Origin is a document that verifies the country in which goods were produced or manufactured.
 It is usually required by Customs authorities in the importing country to determine the country of origin of the
goods.
 It may be required for various purposes, such as to qualify for reduced tariffs under a preferential trade
agreement or to comply with import regulations.
 The Certificate of Origin contains information about the exporter, the importer, and the goods being shipped, as
well as a declaration of the country of origin.
 The Certificate of Origin is an important document in international trade, as it helps to ensure that goods are
being traded fairly and that the appropriate tariffs and regulations are being applied.
 Bill of Export
 A Bill of Export is a document that serves as the main declaration for export of goods from one country to another
 It is required by Customs authorities for allowing shipment of goods from the exporting country.
 The Bill of Export contains information about the exporter, the importer, the goods being shipped, and the vessel carrying the
goods.
• It is issued by the shipping agent and serves as a legal declaration of the goods being exported.
• It is used to determine the appropriate customs duties and taxes that must be paid and to ensure compliance with all applicable
laws and regulations.

• Shipping Bill
• A Shipping Bill, also known as a Bill of Export, is the main document required by Customs authorities for allowing shipment of
goods from one country to another.
• It is issued by the shipping agent and serves as a legal declaration of the goods being exported.
• The Shipping Bill contains information about the exporter, the importer, the goods being shipped, and the vessel carrying the
goods.
• It is used to determine the appropriate customs duties and taxes that must be paid and to ensure compliance with all applicable
laws and regulations and provides information about the terms of sale, such as the price and payment terms.
• The Shipping Bill represents a certificate document for each party involved in the transaction, such as the ship's owner, seller,
buyer, and Customs authorities.
