The Story of

Troy
In distant Asia minor, a kingdom shone, its wealth and
power were nothing to its neighbors, Troy, it was Troy, Troy
of Turquia
as a day from now, the Queen, their queen, will give birth to
her second child
In the middle of the night, after the
Primordial Goddess Nyx blanketed
the Sky with the black veil of her
husband, Erebos, the Primordial God
of Darkness, the couple were
sleeping.
It was cold, it was dark, there’s
nothing, but light, light of the Moon,
shining far above the sky.
They were in peace, so in harmony, as
their ears were being embraced by the
hymns of the Winds.
It was so pleasant and relaxing that all they can do was to listen to it,
whose presence painted their minds with all of its beauty, before it was
ruined once the Queen was visited by the Dreams, a dream, but instead
of a beautiful one, it was dreadful, a nightmare, or a prophecy—a
prophecy from the Gods of Olympus.
Few years from now, her baby, the Prince of Troy,
who was prophesied that he will bring the fall of his
country
an unbreakable one, that only the Goddesses of Fate
have the power over.
Paris, who was adopted by a shepherd,  which was
the one that was given the task to abandon him
when he’s a baby in a forest
but his mind had changed, and ended
up adopting the Prince.
Paris, he was handsome, tall, and well-built. His
beauty was nothing to his fellow mortals, but only
for the Gods.
One day, in the middle of the day, the Sun shone
brightly, the Sky was clear, and the Sea was calmed, as if
it was a normal day in Turquia, a young Paris was
watching his flocks, his job
yet one of his sheeps ran towards a cave, but as a
shepherd, seeing your lamb running away from you
would definitely make you chase it, and then
Paris, now entering the cave, met three beautiful
women
These women were nothing from the lands of mortals. Their beauty was
more superior than anyone, which seemed to show that they’re not mortals,
but gods—goddesses.
The women were light, their presence brought a shiny, but dim light inside
the cave, then Paris found his sheep in the arms of a lady, the eldest one, but
before he could even open his lips, a man appeared from the darkness. He
was handsome, but much less handsome than him, Paris.
“Out of all the men in the world, you were chosen to
settle the dispute between the Gods,” said Hermes,
the God of Travelers, “this golden apple…”
The Messenger God showed the said apple just before Paris’s
eyes met the inscription on the apple’s shiny surface and it
says, To the fairest of all
“Will be given to the most beautiful of all the goddesses: the
Olympians, the Titans, and the Primordials… but here… our
contestants!”
“I am Hera, the wife of Zeus, King of the Gods! Choose
me as the most beautiful… and I will make you the
richest king in all Asia. I will give you a palace as
splendid as Olympus.”
“I am Athena! The Goddess of Strategic War and Wisdom, daughter
of Zeus, choose me and you will be the greatest general ever!
Instead of commanding herds you will lead armies, and be known
as the greatest conqueror!”
“I am Aphrodite! The Goddess of Beauty and Love! Choose me
and I will give you the love of the most beautiful woman in the
world of the mortals.”
“If that was true…” said Paris, “show me the woman of your
words.”
The Goddess showed him the image of the beautiful Queen,
Helen of Sparta, whose beauty was able to steal the heart of
the Prince in just a single glance
for she’s so beautiful that she could only be compared
to the Goddess of Beauty herself.
The young Paris handed the golden apple from Hermes to
Aphrodite, showing to the other competitors that they had
The Goddess of Beauty and Love celebrated her victory
but the resentment of the two goddesses made them vow to have a
revenge on the Prince, where his people would pay a great price for his
choice, and it will be known as the Fall of Troy.
