Does Body Mass Index

affect human’s blood

pressure?
By Sec 1 Student
Introduction
BMI (Body Mass Index) is a person weight in kilogram
(Kg) divided by his or her height in meters squared. BMI can be
underweight, normal weight, overweight, obese.
The hypothesis
The more the weight than more fat that will push
the blood vein so it BMI will affect blood pressure.
Procedure

We included 15,971 women and 13,846 men who were 20 y

or older at the first survey, without blood pressure medication
at both surveys and without diabetes, cardiovascular disease
or dysfunction in daily life at baseline (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15809666).
We tested their blood pressure and put them in a table.
Aha!

Experiment Analysis:

Experiment Results
Overweight and obesity increase the risk of elevated blood
pressure, but the knowledge of the effect of weight change on blood
pressure is sparse (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15809666) Underweight appears
to have the same risk with overweight and obese. Normal weight
will keep your blood pressure healthy.
My Theory
BMI does affect blood pressure so
it is important to not have an
eating disorder to control your
weight. Ideal weight is 1 kg per
inches so if our height is 60 inches
tall than our ideal weight is 60 kg
Conclusion
My hypothesis is correct. The more the weight of people or
even if a people is underweight, it will affect their blood
pressure
What will I do next?
It is all according to school project that
i need to do or my personal interest.
