OVERVIEW OF THE STUDY

Daily allowance provided to students for their day-to-day expenses is an


important factor that can significantly impact academic performance. Many
students rely on daily allowance to meet their basic needs such as
transportation, food, and other expenses, and it can play a crucial role in their
ability to focus on their studies.

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
This problem aims to identify the Effects of Daily Allowance on Academic
Performance of Grade 12 ICT Students in Mangatarem National High
School.
Specifically, it aims to answer the following:
• Does Daily allowance affect academic performance of a student?
• How does a student allocate or spend their allowance?
• How does the daily allowance contribute to the attendance of a student?

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

In this part of the study, it explains the benefits that the students, teachers,
parents, and the future researchers would gain such as having an awareness
and expanding their knowledge about the effects of daily allowance towards
the students. Also, this research study will help them understand the
importance of daily allowance in every students.

RECOMMENDATIONS

RECOMMENDATION 1
The researchers' recommendation is that the school, particularly Grade 12 ICT students,
conduct additional studies related to the study to further assess student issues in terms of
budgeting and financial management.
RECOMMENDATION 2
The researchers would also like to recommend parents to keep track of where their children
spend their money or allowances in order to help them manage
their daily allowance wisely.

CONCLUSION
Base on the findings, the researchers concluded that the provision of a daily
allowance has a positive impact on academic performance of Gr. 12 ICT
Students of Mangatarem National High School. By providing financial
support, reducing the financial burden on students, and ensuring their basic
needs are met, daily allowances contribute to improved educational
outcomes. They enhance attendance rates, concentration levels, and access to
educational resources, ultimately leading to better academic performance.
