Types of Bones
1) LONG BONE

CHARACTERISTICS
• 3 parts: the middle part is called Diafise, both ends are called Epifise &
Metafise.

• Examples : Ulna, Radius,


 Femur, dan Tibia. exceeds breadth

 Are mostly compact bones.
2) SHORT BONE
• The size is short and cuboid.  
• Examples: Carpal, Tarsal and Colum Vertebrae.

 Skull Bones

 Sternum

 Ribs

4.Flat Bones
Characteristics :

• Not hollow
• Thin
• Flatten
• Curved
• Has a wide surface.
4). Irregular Bones – Have
complex shapes

CHARACTERISTICS:

1. Have a unique and


irregular shape.

2.Muscles, tendons and


ligaments attach to it.

3.Join with other bones.
