5) Why is it a Best Practice?
Spread of Peace Curriculum over the years  Peace Education inspires and motivates a wide range of students at various levels, taking
care of holistic development with integrated cultural values
 This practice has been followed in 20 GIIS sister campuses across the globe
 The projects conducted in the school under this Curriculum has been recognised and
published in the booklet of Singapore Kindness Movement.
 Today, our children need to feel emotional and spiritually secure and learn to become better
human beings. We have witnessed our students imbibe universal values that become their
core characteristic.

newcomers and their families settle-down and adjust to studying in schools
in Singapore, form support systems and learn about local norms.

• Developing social networks-This level created opportunities for local
students and newcomers to form friendships based on shared interests, and
