BASIC MFG. XANAX AREA 0.243 INFRA The project is undertaken to facilitate the
manufacturing of Xanax. The new facility
will meet the Pfizer defined OEB4 requirement
as part of Product Transfer from ISB to
Karachi.

BLISTER MACHINE 0.516 CAPACITY Procurement of Blister machines enhance

the Packaging capacity of Ponstan.

Saving of US $ 0.100 MM from the 2006 Operating Plan i.e. Dispensing Booths Project US $ 0.100 MM

GMP UPGRADE LIQUID FORMULATION 0.400 GMP In view of the PCH decision, the project has
been rationalized, reducing the original cost by 0.3
MM.

RAW MATERIAL WARE (HVAC) 0.500 INFRA It will be undertaken to provide temperature-
controlled space for certain raw materials
in the RM warehouse.

WAREHOUSE (FG/ PM/ RM) 0.800 CAPACITY The warehouse upgrade project will be undertaken
to facilitate the integration of ISB and Karachi
operations.

GENERATOR FOR SITE 1275 KVA 0.300 CAPACITY The project will enhance the stand by power
arrangement for the future production needs.

FIRE FIGHTING SYSTEM 0.350 EHS This project addresses the major EHS concern
and need to be implemented on fast track.

CHILLER WW/ SITE 1.400 INFRA This is a capacity constraint, needs to be

addressed in phases over 3 years.
Simultaneously the project will generate
significant energy savings.

ENCAPSULATION MACHINE 0.200 CAPACITY The project will be undertaken to overcome the
Capacity constraint.

REFURBSIHMENT OF PONSTAN AREA 0.700 INFRA In view of future plan, the manufacturing
area for Ponstan requires major revamping to
address GMP and EHS Concerns. In fact this is a
future focus area. The project will be implemented
in phases over 3 years.

DI WATER SYSTEM 0.200 INFRA The project will be undertaken to relocate

DI system from West Wharf to SITE.

NEW BLISTER MACHINES (3 NO.) 1.500 CAPACITY In view of future plan, when the emphasis
will be on solid manufacturing , three blister
machines have been included to enhance the
capacity. The project has been spread over
3 years.

SECURITY SYSTEM-SITE 0.400 INFRA The cost has been included to enhance the
security measures as suggested by
Corporate Security Auditor.

MECHANIZATION OF MATER. CHARG. 0.700 EHS The expense has been included to address
the issues in Dry Formulation areas as
suggested by EHS Auditors.
