• Half of yellow sun examines from Post modern feminist outlook in studying the roles and
position of women in the chaotic time of Nigerian Civil war. It also highlights about
generations unconcerned behaviour about socio political outlying status of women in
men’s dominant society. It also clarify the heterogenity and contrast of some female
characters, who blindly support societal system serving as a portrayal of the conservative
Africa women.
