    Ecosprin contains aspirin, which works as an antiplatelet by inhibiting thromboxane A2 formation. It is widely used to prevent stroke and angina.     C/C HTN FAMILY HISTORY OF PRE ECLAMPSIA

    AUTO IMMUNE DISORDRES SOCIO DEMOGRAPHIC CHARACTERISTICS

    TYPE 1 AND 2 DM
    SIDE EFFECTS
    • Abdominal pain/nausea/heart burn
    • Rashes/bleeding/irregular pulse

    • CONTRAINDICATIONS
    • Hypersensitivity to aspirin
    • Peptic ulcer
    • Bleeding disorders
    • c/c liver and renal disease
    • ACOG recommends single dose of aspirin 150mg at bed time from 12
    wks
    upto 1 week prior to delivery

    • (preferred to start at least before 16 wks)


    • ASPRE TRAIL---large prospective randomized placebo controlled trial which
    included more than 30000 pregnant women
    • ASAPP trail---LDA in the prevention of preeclampsia—prospective randomized
    Ongoing trial to compare the dose of aspirin 81mg vs 162 md
    2019—2024
    • Heparin and LDA has not shown to increase live birth in early pregnancy loss.
