QUES1 Suppose your parents are not around and you need to pack your tiffin on
your own . In a PowerPoint presentation , create a tiffin menu keeping the
importance of a balanced diet in mind .

TASK 2 OF THE PROJECT

QUES2 We often attend social events and find a lot of food wasted. Make a report in
the form of a PowerPoint presentation enlisting the different ways in which we can
prevent food from getting wasted.
ANS2 People in many parts of the world malnourished due to lack of food. Food
wastage on the other hand has become a world problem. It has become common to cook
food in excess and throw it away. It is thrown away after eating in events like marriage,
or engagement. In India, many people do not get enough food , and people die due to
hunger. According to a survey , it has been told that 1\3 of the food that is produced is
being wasted. Realizing that food is essential for our life , we should stop wasting food.
Taking more food in the plate than required and throwing it after not eating it is a
waste of food. The leftover food in events like marriage , and engagement should not
be thrown away but given to the poor. Children should be taught , right from their
childhood , not to waste food on their plate.
TASK 3 OF THE PROJECT

QUES3 Study the nutritional information printed on any 5 packaged food items
such as juice cartons , chocolates , a packet of chips , biscuits etc. Note down
the number of different components and the amount present in them . Use the
format given below .
