∙ The mBot Ranger is a three-in-one robot kit
which can be configured
into three forms: a robotank, a three wheeled
racing car and a self-balancing car.
Programming and controlling
the mBot Ranger can be done through smart
phones, tablets, and computers 
∙ The Ranger have 6 types of components: there are Physical
component, Output Device, Input Device, Connection Cable,

mounted on a printed circuit board
containing the processor, Memory, and
programmable input/output ports. The
microcontroller of mBot Ranger is called
Me Auriga Microcontroller.

∙ Ultrasonic Sensors is an electronic device
that measures the distance of a target object
by emitting ultrasonic sound waves and
converts the reflected sound into an
electrical signal. Ultrasonic waves travel
faster than the speed of audible sound

Explain

• The Line Follower sensor is an add-on for your

mBot Ranger that gives your robot the ability to
detect lines or nearby objects. The sensor works by
detecting reflected light coming from its own
infrared LED.

Elaborate
Most parts of the robot are also found around our house. The screw, bolt
and nuts that we use are also found in our appliances to tighten the cabinets,
walls and others. Some cables are also familiar to us because we use it in our
printers and computers. On the other hand, the brain of our robot which is
the Auriga is like the CPU of our computer but it is in small packaging. See,
robots are our companion, it reflects the things that are already around us. We
just need to make sure that all of its parts are always intact and taken care of so
we can enjoy it for a long time.
