ANALYZE 1. Were the routines effective in ensuring the
discipline and order in class? why? why not?

Having classroom routines would allow students to be organized and this can
minimize class disruption. According to Dr. Wendy Reinke in her article,
classroom routines could help in maximizing instruction time without disruptions
which can be beneficial for students. This would also allow students to learn what
are the teacher's expectations for them regarding their behaviors and norms.
Additionally according to her, classroom routines would help in reducing
disruptive behaviors among students. Thus, routines is effective in developing
proper behaviors among students and having order in the classroom.
ANALYZE 2. Which of those routines were systematic
and consistently implemented? explain your
answer
Based on the answer of our resource teacher she said that the routines that she
usually implement inside her classroom are the absent student, checking of
assignments, asking questions during lessons and asking for assistance. So before
she start the lesson she will going to check the attendance to know if there are
students who were absent that day and then after she will check the assignments of
her students because she wants to know if they answered it at their home. She also
said that during her class discussion she always ask her students about the topic to
ensure that they are really listening to her discussion and she also that she always
roam around the classroom for her to see if their are students that needs her
assistance.
REFLECT 1. Which of the routines will you most
likely apply in your class? why? why not?

The routines that we want to apply in our classroom someday are the asking
questions during lesson, working with pairs/groups and joining classroom activities.
The reason why we want to apply this classroom routines because we want our
students to participate actively in class. When the teacher is having a class
discussion it is important to ask some questions with their student so that the
students could speak and give their opinion about the topic. The teacher also needs
to give a pair/group work activities to his/her students during the class discussion so
that the students could work with their other classmates and it will also give them a
motivation to do the task that given to them because they are collaborating with
their classmates.
REFLECT 1. Which of the routines will you most
likely apply in your class? why? why not?

Through this kind of routines they can participate and express their feelings and
explain their thoughts in class because they have the time to speak not only the
teacher that is talking. It will help them also to learn more and to widen their
knowledge by just answering the questions of the teachers and by asking also their
teachers about the things that they want to learn. Further, they can develop their
social ability by collaborating or working with their classmates.

ANALYZE 1.Analyze each given rule, what
circumstances led to the formulation of
the rule?
Each given rules inside the classroom are formulated because this will serves
as guide to teach students what is appropriate and not behaviors must do inside
the classroom and teachers want to keep his/her students safe and away from
disordered behavior. Additionally, teachers want to have a peace, orderly and well
discipline environment among his/her students. Along with that, it will lead them
to have a productive classrooms management that will be very conducive for
learning.
ANALYZE 2. Are rules really important?

Yes, for us classroom rules are very essential inside the class because if
students have no rules to follow, it will cause chaotic situation to the students
as well as to the teacher. This could possibly lead to disrespecting and hurting
each other. Thus, it is very important to have rules inside the classroom for
the reason that it can help teachers to guide students to control themselves
and to think about their action that affects to themselves and to others. Also,
It is effective way in managing the behavior of students inside the classroom
and it keeps them under control. More importantly, they have mutual
understanding to each other and it will lead to them to become more
responsible individual.
REFLECT Reflect on the various classroom rules set the
resource teacher. Will you have the same rule? if
not, what rules are you going to employ? Explain
your answer.
Our resource teacher said that all of the classroom rules that she set was being
followed properly by her students. So, we want also to apply her classroom rules in
our classroom in the future because we believed that all of those are useful and
helpful for the learning and development of the students. But aside from the
classroom rules that our research teacher implemented, we want also to implement
the No cheating policy inside the classroom especially if there are quizzes and
exams because this will help them to become responsible and independent to study
and to answer on their own.
REFLECT Reflect on the various classroom rules set the
resource teacher. Will you have the same rule? if
not, what rules are you going to employ? Explain
your answer

Then the No bullying policy inside and outside of the classroom since this kind of
issue is very rampant now a days especially in elementary and high school students
so we want them to respect and to be kind with their classmates and to other people
and for them also to avoid themselves from any trouble.
