LANGUAGE CLASSROOM

◦ Identifying key challenges – using
technology to handle classroom challenges
◦ Brainstorming
◦ Tools for teaching
◦ Tools for testing
◦ (We hope to have lots of peer and group
activities so we can pool all our experiences and
resources)

2
• What comes to mind when you hear the word
“technology”?
• Did you imagine computers? Smart phones? Apps?
• Or perhaps GPS? The Wifi? Internet? TV?
• Netflix, anyone?

Step 2: Brainstorm in your group and identify
at least two tools of technology that you think
can use to handle the challenge. Time: 15min
GALLERY WALK

Step 3: Put your posters up on walls for other

groups to see and offer their suggestions.
Add 1 more technological tool which you think
can help them. Time - 10 min.
As Chapelle (2007) points it out, technology will
continue to influence every aspect of the lives of
language learners, including their formal as well as
informal language learning experiences.
