 We all were given one body:
2 Cor. 5:10: For we must all stand before Christ to be judged. We will each receive whatever we deserve

for the good or evil we have done in this earthly body.

 CONSCIENCE: Our conscience is “God’s Laboratory” for : testing, researching, teaching, etc.
 The Scriptures view man in moral perspective, he is the only creature who can and must answer to God
for what he does or becomes. [does God require our beloved pets to give Him an account regarding negative
behavior?]
 Conscience is the indicator that measures our conduct and the values to which we are committed
 It aids in discerning what is right and good from what is inferior, wrong, and bad; and encourages
decisions that are right and good
 OUR GOD –ORDAINED RELATIONSHP WITH OTHERS : We grow by caring for people and
things! ‘Emotions that kill’ are triggered by the people we interact with every day!
Let’s examine the contrasts below. Gal. 5: 19-26
The acts of the flesh [manifested through emotions] are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, and debauchery; idolatry and
sorcery; hatred, discord, jealousy, and rage; rivalries, divisions, factions, and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I
warn you, as I did before, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

****But the fruit of the Spirit [ also manifested through emotions] is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness,
goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Since we live by the
Spirit, let us walk in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying one another .

‘Emotions that kill’ can only be ‘killed’ by surrendering to the Holy Spirit’s leading!
  OUR TALENTS:

Talents are natural abilities or aptitudes that allow someone to excel in a certain
activity. They can be physical or mental abilities, and often come naturally to
people. Talents can be developed with practice and training.
Col. 3:17…And whatever you do, in word or deed, do it all in the name of the
Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

Talents are God’s resources! Are you managing them well

 OUR POSSESSIONS:
• Genesis 43:23
He said, “Be at ease, do not be afraid. Your God and the God of your father has
given you treasure in your sacks; I had your money.” Then he brought Simeon
out to them.
• Deuteronomy 8:18
But you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who is giving you
power to make wealth, that He may confirm His covenant which He swore to
your fathers, as it is this day.
• 1 Samuel 2:7….“The Lord makes poor and rich; He brings low, He also
exalts.

• Ecclesiastes 5:19…..Furthermore, as for every man to whom God has

given riches and wealth, He has also empowered him to eat from them and
to receive his reward and rejoice in his labor; this is the gift of God

How would you account to God for the resources
you were entrusted with to manage/ steward
including your emotions?

****Biblical Stewardship is intentional,

purposeful and effective management of God’s
resources using His godly principles as our guide.

 Conclusion: If we are to be effective and God-honoring stewards
OUR 5 GOD-GIVEN ASSETS
over these 5 assets that were entrusted in our care to manage,
foster growth, demonstrate faithfulness, promote worship,
praise, gratitude and reflect His glory…
Then I submit to you my sisters that regardless of our trajectory
in life or our emotional status, chosen, inflected or adapted…

There must be a paradigm shift from…‘I am in charge, its

my life, I live as I please” to
Lord, I have been selfish, forgive me… I choose
to honor and be accountable to You in all areas
of my life so that others may see Your good
works and come to glorify You as Lord! ….. I
am Your Steward.
