Don’t be limited by
your gender or

Rachel was a shepherd-

Gen 29:18 Since Jacob was in love with Rachel,
he told her father, “I’ll work for you for seven
years if you’ll give me Rachel, your younger
daughter, as my wife.”

planning nor knowledge nor

You Must be

Task
The most frustrating thing is to work
in field you don’t believe in or
something you don’t love.
It was easy for Jacob to work for
Rachel because he loved her.
Whatever you do in this life, find
purpose first.

years to get Rachel, but they
seemed like only a few days to
him because of his love for her.
You Must
Demand for your
Reward
Jacob did not Just sit after seven years of working for
Rachel, he went and demanded for his reward.
The world will not simply give you what you want
because you are hard working, but you must be willing
to demand for what is due to you.
Gen 29:21 Then Jacob said to Laban, “Give me my wife,
for my time is completed, that I may have relations with
her.”

The world will give
you Leah not Rachel
Even after Jacob had worked for Seven years for Rachel, he
ended up with Leah instead of Rachel.
Gen 29:25 When morning came, there was Leah! So Jacob
said to Laban, “What is this you have done to me? I served
you for Rachel, didn’t I? Why have you deceived me?”
The systems of this world are not designed simply hand you
your Rachel.
• Know your Rachel so well that you will not mistake her for
Leah.
Matthew 11:12 From the days of John the Baptist until
now the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence, and the
violent take it by force.
You must be will to fight for What you want
Genesis 29:20 So Jacob served seven years to get
