Issues common to belt
• Old starter- All belt operated by A67 Model starter of wallancetown make .
Spare is originally not available. Safety system of starter don’t have requisite
reliability.
• Anti Roll Back Device – Presently using only one anti roll back fitted in one
gearbox for belt in gradient. Require double anti-rollback device for reliable
operation.
• Loop takeup tensioning arrangement- No spare gearbox of LTU available.
During breakdown LTU gearbox of running BELT is used.
• 1200mm belt structure - The bottom and top idler of Vishwa 1200 belt
running are old and required to be changed alongwith stool post and
brackets.

Safety Issues
• Fine dust get accumulated at belt structure and gallery. Which require
water spraying for dust suppression.
• Presently water spraying is done using RAW WATER in TC1, TC2 and
TC3 while for belt no TC4, TC5, TC6 AND TC7 , dauwty water supplied
to development section is used.
• The use of raw water sometimes hinder skip pocket operation while
that of dauwty water affect development section.
• So CCS require independent water supply system for spraying purpose
throughout belt circuit.
