What is
Mental Health

A state of well-being in which every individual


realizes his or her own potential, can cope with
the normal stresses of life, can work productively
and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution
to his or her community.”

Mental Health

- Mental health includes our psychological,


social, and emotional well-being. It affects
how we feel, think and act. It also
determines how we handle stress, relate to
others and make choices.

 
Why is Mental Health Important?

- We all have mental health like we all have


physical health
- Mental well-being is one of our most valuable
assets.
- Like any physical health condition, mental
health problems can affect a person’s
functioning at home, school, work and
community.

What is Stress?

- Stress can be defined as any type of


change that causes physical, emotional,
or psychological strain. Stress is the
body's response to anything that
requires attention or action.

nothing you can do

Synthesis

Stress is everywhere. It is a common problem in


our life. However, stress has an advantages and
disadvantages.

If we will handle stress effectively this can


provide a lot of advantages to us. But if it is not
handle effectively this may lead to a lot problem
to our life.
