is a world exhibition held in Dubai (UAE) in 2021-
2022

More than 200 pavilions were built in the desert on

an area of more than four square kilometers, where
the participating countries and partners of EXRO
demonstrate the uniqueness of their cultures, their
economic and scientific and technical potential.
 Тhe ЕХРО exhibition center was created
with the use of advanced technologies in
architecture.

For example, the Al Wasl dome is built in

its central part. This is the world's largest
domed structure without supports. In
addition, the building is equipped with a
projection surface with a 360-degree
view.

 A VERTICAL FARM THAT PRODUCES ENERGY, WATER AND FOOD

Rainmaker technology is demonstrated in the Netherlands pavilion. It is capable of extracting

water from the air, even in desert conditions. According to the creators of the pavilion,

Rainmaker extracts 800 liters of water from the air every day. The process is based on

renewable energy produced by lightweight, transparent organic solar panels mounted on the

roof. At the same time, sunlight passing through the panels helps the plants in photosynthesis.
 Many of the materials used are local,
reusable and biodegradable. For example, the
curtains are made of cornstarch, and the floor
is created using mushroom mycelium.
 A typical concrete building was abandoned here in favor of a biotope. At the
center of the pavilion is a 19-meter giant green cone covered with approximately
3,500 edible plants (such as basil and lettuce) planted in circular rings around the
cone. Inside the building is a mushroom nursery.

As the director of the pavilion, Michel Raaphorst, pointed out, this solution and
the Rainmaker technology can solve the problem of water shortage, especially in
arid and dry climates, but not only:

"It is a smart system in which you do not have to waste liters of water for irrigation. It is able
to serve itself. The pavilion demonstrates a new way of thinking about how to combine water,
energy and food. Such an approach helps to find solutions for future problems related to
population growth and scarcity of natural resources."

which promises further automation of services and intellectual
activity.
If the first, second and third industrial revolutions
radically changed the capabilities of people, then
the fourth is completely unique
