• The First Conditional is used to show possible plans, promises,
warnings, and threats that are really going to happen if the
condition is fulfilled.
• Sometimes, it is used to introduce a less certain consequence. MODAL
VERBS like should, could, can and may are used in the main clause. The
structure in this case is:

IF + PRESENT SIMPLE, MODAL VERB + VERB
