This act is the present policy in the facilitation of customs and tariff
administration.
 Functions of the Bureau of Customs

The main function of the Bureau of Customs is to prevent and suppress

the entry of smuggled goods.

Supervise all import and export cargoes in all ports .

Assessed and collect customs duties and taxes other charges.

Bureau of Customs & the agency’s connection to customs
broker’s services.
 The Bureau of Customs controls all
cargoes at the ports of entry and
Implement rules and regulations to all
stakeholders;
Thus,all businesses and entities dealing
with the trade will also be accredited and
must comply with the required import
permits if regulated commodity before
commencing any transaction at the port .
 The Accreditation of all stakeholders
includes customs brokers and importers.
