Unitary Method

  A technique for solving a problem by first finding the value of a

single unit, and then finding the necessary value by multiplying the
single unit value.
Example:

Nth Term:

 The n th term is a formula that enables us to find any

term in a sequence. The ' n ' stands for the term number.

  find the common difference between each term. Start

by writing this difference multiplied by n.

Percentage:

 The percentage can be found by dividing the value by the total

value and then multiplying the result by 100.

 To convert fractions to percentages divide the numerator (number

on the top) by the denominator (number on the bottom) and
multiply by 100 .

Fractions:
 Addition/Subtraction of Fractions:

Step 1: Find a common denominator.

Step 2: Add/Subtract the numerators (and keep the denominator)
Step 3: Simplify the fraction
Fractions:
 Multiplication of fractions:
1. Multiply the top numbers (the numerators).
2. Multiply the bottom numbers (the denominators).
3. Simplify the fraction if needed.
Fractions:

 Division of fractions:
• Multiplying the first fraction by the Fliping of the second fraction.
• The first step to dividing fractions is to find the reciprocal (reverse
the numerator and denominator) of the second fraction.
• Next, multiply the two numerators. Then, multiply the two
denominators.
