TEXT-BASED APPROACH TO DEVELOP THE

READING SKILL SECONDARY SCHOOL


STUDENTS
INTRODUCTION
This article evidences the work applied during the second period of teaching
practices in the Escuela Secundaria Ofic. No. 0173 "HERMENEGILDO
GALEANA" located in San Pedro de los Baños, Ixtlahuaca, State of
Mexico. The practices focused on the use of a text-based approach to
teaching English.

In conclusion, it can be highlighted that the use of a
text-based approach is the bridge between learning
and real life, it is important for learning in
everyday life, helping to generate a suitable
environment in which the learner can develop and
apply their skills to a real context.
