Why Do We Need Rules?

things would go
wrong.
Do you go to Rainbows, Brownies, Cub scouts or
Beaver scouts?

Do you have to follow any rules?

What would it be like if there

weren’t any rules when you go to those clubs?
We need rules to…

• keep us safe;
• keep us healthy;
• help us to be
ourselves;
• make sure we are all
listened to.

We all need to be part of making the rules so
that we all agree what they are and work together to
keep them.

 Writing Our Class Rules
We will talk about our ideas and then make our own class rules.
Once we have our rules, we can promise to try and stick to them so that
our classroom is a safe, friendly and fun place to be.
