The impact of tools

on human development
Sally & Susie
Hypothesis: The impact of the development of exploration tools on
human development. The biggest difference between humans and animals
is that humans use tools.

Independent and dependent variables :

The independent variable is the use of tools, the dependent variable,
human development, refers to the changes or progress in human
capabilities , such as physical, cognitive, emotional, and social
abilities, that result from using tools.
The research design: Our research design is
based on analysis of the descriptive articles we seek, and
combined with historical data. We choose this design because
relevant historical events and descriptive articles can
intuitively reflect the results, and clearly know whether it
conforms to our hypothesis. They are relatively objective,
factual and persuasive.

Methods : We will look for relevant information

on the website, or get help from teachers and classmates.

Human Mind

The hypothesis of this article : Humans may not be uniquely

defined as “a tool-using animal” but we do inhabit a uniquely
elaborated technological niche.

Method : By observing some primates in the United States, Africa and Asia, and collecting research
reports from previous scientists.

Finding : Nonhuman primates, compared to humans, use simpler objects as tools and use tools in simpler
ways. Unlike humans, no nonhuman primate is an obligate tool user. Individuals neither teach others nor learn
via imitation to use tools.

And how it relates to the research idea : The

use of tools has also been linked to the
development of human language and cognitive
abilities, as the ability to create and use tools
requires complex problem-solving skills, spatial
reasoning, and manual dexterity. The use of tools
has therefore played a critical role in the
development of human intelligence and cognitive
abilities.In conclusion, the relationship between
human development and tool use is a complex and
multifaceted one. The ability to create and use
tools has been a driving force in human evolution,
enabling us to adapt to diverse environments and
transform the world around us.

countries: The example of Africa ( descriptive article ) This article supports our
hypothesis, because the use of some tools has brought progress and improvement to
the agricultural, economic and chemical environmental security in Africa.

Hypothesis:The emergence, innovation and application of

tools can accelerate human development.
Finding : The use of these tools does reduce pollution and chemical waste emissions in
Africa, so the use of tools is good for humanity.

Method: For example, this experiment proposes to use the CASBEE comprehensive
evaluation system for building environmental efficiency in the proposed policy plans and
programs. It can help Africa achieve sustainable development. At the same time, technical
tools, such as solid waste incineration, can be used to minimize the impact of hazardous
waste from chemical industry on the environment.

How it relates :
According to this
experiment, it is not difficult
to see that the more tools are
used, the greater the help to
human development. This is
completely in line with our
hypothesis.
