Activate and set-up your teacher account
All About Accelerator
1. Recommended 30 minutes per week for students to show adequate progress.
- Teachers should push students to shoot for 45-60 minutes a week (this will
take place during learning blitz)
1. Your classes or rostered based on MAPS rosters through Clever
2. In order to see each class, the homeroom teacher will have to activate his or her
account.
3. In order to see a student on your roster, the student will have to activate his or
her account.
Things the teacher and students need to know…….
Students can start in whichever domain the teacher would like to suggest a focus on.
● After choosing a domain, students will need to click on “Get Started”
● Accelerator will create their path, and it is self-paced
● Students can navigate through their learning assignments, videos when
struggling, and challenges when they want to try and level up.
● If a student make adequate progress, and reach 80% or higher, the teacher can
adjust the student’s RIT range
Student activation and placement
Students activate their account by

1. Go to Clever, click on MAPS Accelerator

2. Click on “Login to existing account”, then click “Login with

Google”

3. After this the teacher will need to set placement for all students
in order for them to begin working.

Teacher set placement by

1. Login to dashboard, click on placement in the left navigation

bar

(this is where you will be able to see a full class view of all students.
You will also see their placement range for each instructional area
based on their Map growth RIT Scores)

2. Click on blue button that says set my placements, and accept

all placements at one time

3. If a student is out and need to activate their account when they

return, the same process will need to be followed for student and
teacher when they return to get them set up.
