Resistivity & Temperature Coefficient
For a homogeneous material:

ρ= resistivity,
l= length &
a= cross-sectional area of
the material

where,
α = Temp coefficient of
Positive temp coeff: Aluminum,0 Copper, Gold, Tungsten
resistivity at 0°C
Negative temp coeff: Carbon, Germanium (pure), Silicon
R0 = Resistance at 0°C
(pure)
