Hi Amira,

Last week, my family and I went to Singapore. It was the beginning of the December school holidays
and dad felt that we all needed a break. I really enjoyed the trip. We had a wonderful time and
everyone felt that it was the best holiday ever. We saw many interesting places and did a lot of things
together.

On the first day, mum and my sisters went shopping along Orchard Road. The following day, early in
the morning, we took a cable car ride to Sentosa Island. It is one of the most popular tourist sites in
Singapore. This is because Universal Studios is situated here.

We enjoyed the roller coaster rides and we also saw replicas of pyramids, the Sphinx and the
Pharaoh's tombs. There were water rides and water-based attractions. A few days later we went to the
Butterfly Park and the wax museum. In the evenings we spent time by the beach. The last two days
were spent walking around the interesting historical sites in the city itself.

I must say, the holiday in Singapore was a great break.
