Introduction
What is ciproflxacin
Ciprofloxacin is an antibiotic in the fluoroquinolone class.
It's commonly used to treat a variety of bacterial infections,
including urinary tract infections, respiratory tract
infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and certain types
of gastroenteritis. It works by inhibiting the DNA gyrase
enzyme, which is essential for bacterial DNA replication and
repair. It's available in various forms, such as tablets, oral
suspension, and intravenous solution. Remember to follow
your healthcare provider's instructions and finish the full
course of treatment, even if you start feeling better.
