1. PREWRITING
Is the first step in the writing process. It has three parts:
TIPS: Transitions :

3. REVISING
Is to make changes to your draft to make it
clearer or more interesting.
The Big Questions: Tips:
Did I say what I wanted to Cross out
say? Use carets to insert
Did I elaborate and used Draw circles and arrows to move
details? words
Did I organize the facts, Use numbers to show order
events, or ideas clearly?
Add attachments or posts to
Did I write in a way that is remember important information
interesting and appropriate to
my audience?
4. PROOFREADING
Is correcting spelling, capitalization, punctuation, correct word choice,
complete sentences, and indented paragraphs.
