Level-1 Comprises of Input-Output field devices with
following type of I/O points:
 Inputs
The universal inputs (UI) accept passive and active sensor elements as well as volt-free
contacts (binary inputs) for signal functions.
 Passive sensors - Ni1000 , Pt100, Pt1000 (designed for temperature sensing-AI)
 Active - 0 ... 10 V DC / 4…20mA / 0….20mA (Analog input e.g. rpm, modulating, temp.
voltage, water flow, current, frequency etc.)
 Binary Volt-free /DC 24 V (DI e.g. on/off, fault/no-fault, open/close, hi/lo level etc.)
 The purely binary inputs (DI) enable signal and counter functions.
 Binary Volt-free (DC 24 V)
 Counter Pulses Volt-free up to 20 Hz (DC 24 V)
 Outputs
 Universal outputs can control modulating actuators as analogue output (AO) and also
can be programmed via the program structure for binary switching functions as digital
outputs (DO).
 Analogue output (AO) 0 ... 10 VDC / 4..20mA / 0…20mA
 Binary 0 or DC24 V, max. 22 mA
 The relay outputs (DO) are designed for max. AC 250 V, 2 A.
