Combating Stress
Behavior in Graduating
Senior High School
Students in St. Cecilia's
College
CHAPTER I
Introduction & Background of the Study
•Understanding the factors contributing to stress behavior in graduating senior high school students
requires a multidimensional approach. Researchers may explore the impact of academic demands, such
as heavy workloads, high-stakes exams, and college application processes. Additionally, the influence
of social factors, such as peer pressure, social media, and family expectations, may be considered.
Individual factors, including coping mechanisms, self-esteem, and resilience, can also play a role in
how students respond to stress.

• To combat stress behavior, researchers and educators may employ a range of interventions. These
could include implementing stress management programs and workshops that teach students effective
coping strategies, relaxation techniques, and time management skills.
