• Commercial Bank of Ceylon is a leading bank in Sri Lanka, founded in 1920 as Eastern Bank
and acquired by Barclays Bank in the 1930s and 1940s. In 1969, it was converted to Eastern
Bank of Ceylon and has a network of 268 branches and 800 ATMs.
