Death is inevitable but why are we afraid
of death? It is because just by thinking of
it, it is already frightening.

Any kind of separation is painful. Death,
as the separation of body and soul is
most terrifying when we view death as
the end of everything.

WAGE OF SIN
Hamartia- is a Greek word means
“missing the mark”, everytime we
commit sin

Concupiscence- is the
inclination to commit sin.

Immortality- means that the
human person will not die.

Impassibility- means that the

human person is immune from
all suffering and misery.
Death is a Wage of Sin
Why is Death the wage of sin?
In Genesis account, Adam and Eve
disobeyed God and death became the
wage of sin. They are our ancestors that
is why we will all experience death.

According to St. Paul, “Each will receive
wages in proportion to his labor.”
If we plant goodness, we will reap
goodness on earth and in Heaven.

Jesus came to this world and His blood
became the ransom for our sins. Because
of His oblation on the Cross, death has
been conquered. (unconditional love)
