The Easter season begins with the


Easter Vigil, which is celebrated
after night falls on the evening
before Easter Sunday.
Easter Sunday
Easter is the celebration of Christ's
Resurrection from the dead. It is celebrated
on Sunday, and marks the end of Holy Week,
the end of Lent, the last day of the Easter
Triduum (Holy Thursday, Good Friday and
Easter Sunday), and is the beginning of the
Easter season of the liturgical year.

celebrating Christ’s
resurrection and ends by
celebrating the descent
of the Holy Spirit upon
the Apostles and other
followers.

The liturgical colors of Easter are
White, for most days, and Red for
Pentecost.

Triumph.
RED - Royalty, Fire, and
Martyrdom.

Pentecost
-The word Pentecost is Greek and it means
"50th day." Fifty days after Easter Sunday,
we celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit
upon the Apostles and their followers, and
the beginning of their Earthly ministry to
make disciples of all nations.
