• E-Portfolio is a digital collection created by a student of their course-related work, like


essays, posters, photographs, videos, and art work. Academic e-portfolios can also capture
other aspects of a students life, such as volunteer experiences, employment history,
extracurricular activities and more.
Types of E-Portfolios

• Developmental E-portfolios

Uses of E-Portfolios
• E-portfolio can help students develop new o deeper learning, which results in higher grades.
• Interactivity: ideally, e-portfolio will be accessible to students and advisors at all times.
• Performance tracking: academic advisors may only have list of grades to help them review
students performance in their classes.
• Planning: e-portfolio allow instructors to make more in-depth recommendations to help
students meet their goals.
• Portability: instructors can use e-portfolio to assess students progress even if they’ve never
communicated with a student before.
