INTRODUCTION

 The module covers essentials of computer systems and computer


networks.
 Fundamentals of computer organization, combinational & sequential logic circuits,
data communication and computer networks.
 Students will be able to explain how computer systems are organized,
layered communication models, and the basic operation of computer
networks.

 Test 1(Lecture 1 – Lecture 7)- 25%
 Test 2 (Lecture 8 – Lecture 11)- 25%

Final Examination (written) - 50%
