SOLAS Ch V. Reg 31.
• Dangerous ice;
• Dangerous derelict;
• Other direct danger to navigation;
• Tropical storm;
• Winds of force 10 or above;
• Severe ice accretion.
SOLAS Ch V. Reg 32.
Dangers to Navigation:
• Kind of ice, derelict or danger;
• Position of danger;
• Time and date (U.T.)
Storms:
• Statement that storm has been encountered;
• Time and date (U.T.);
• Position;
• Barometric pressure, corrected and units;
• Barometric tendency;
• Wind force and direction;
• Sea state*;
• Swell, height, direction and length*;
• Course and speed of ship.
(* Not required for winds of force 10 or above)
Ice Accretion:
• Time and date (U.T.);
• Air temperature;
• Sea temperature;
• Wind force and direction.
