WHAT IS CO-EXISTENCE?

Coexistence is a state in which two or more groups


are living together while respecting their
differences and resolving their conflicts non-
violently

At the core of coexistence is the awareness that


individuals and groups differ in numerous ways
including class, ethnicity, religion, gender etc.

WHAT IS THE SITUATION AROUND THE
WORLD REGARDING DIVERSITY IN A
COMMUNITY?

Global migration has caused a growth in the diversity of communities.

A survey posted in Pew Research Centre on 22nd of April 2019 includes 27 nations.

Most of those surveyed in these nations say their country has become more diverse in the past 20
years. While this perception is very common in Canada, Europe the United States and several Asia-
Pacific nations

Among the countries surveyed, Greeks are the most likely to say their country has become more
diverse by (92%).

WHAT ARE SOME COUNTRIES WITH
CULTURAL DIVERSITY?

You might be surprised but one of the countries with the most
cultural diversity and tolerance is Sweden

Another country with the most cultural diversity and tolerance is


Norway

The third on the list of tolerance and diversity is Denmark

Canada is also known as one of the most friendly and free countries.

ALBANIA “FAMOUS FOR
RELIGIOUS TOLERANCE”

Albania is one of the countries with the most religious


diversity. You can not really tell if someone is Christian,
muslim etc. Your religion will not affect you in any way in
Albania because all of them are so mixed that now nobody
really cares what you belive in.

IS TOLERANCE
WHAT IS TOLERANCE? IMPORTANT?

To be tolerant means that you accept other people's Tolerance is important because it provides a more
opinions and preferences, even when they live in a
way that you don't agree with. Tolerance also means
cohesive, peaceful society. People who are free to
that you don't put your opinions above those of express themselves freely and peacefully without fear
others, even when you are sure that you are right of persecution are more likely to live happier lives as
functional members of society.

Take Ownership of Your Feelings. Recognize that no one can make you
feel a certain way without your permission. ...

Practice Respect.

CONCLUSION

The answer to the question is mostly yes. By co-existing we


learn about new cultures and traditions. We make the future a
better place for our children, a place where everyone is treated
equaly. But there will always be people who don’t agree.
