ABOUT THIS COURSE

This unit will cover fundamental concepts, algorithms, techniques in data mining and provide you with practical skills
to solve real-world data mining problems.
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
 Apply data pre-processing techniques to unstructured data

 Apply data-mining techniques:


 to find frequent patterns, associations and correlations in large data sets;
 for cluster analysis in the context of mining meta-data from unstructured data; and
 to stream and sequence data

 Critically analyze techniques used in classification and prediction

 Expertise in Radio Astronomy and Software Development
