 AG M & E SERVICES
AG M & E Services is a privately held company
focused on “maintenance” and “electrical”. It is
also a subcontractor company known as
(SUBCON) that accepts any tender from various
places such as buying and selling companies,
schools, mosques, offices, and many more. In
addition, this company has been established
since 2019 and is equipped with many
employees.
 MAINTENANCE SERVICES
Maintenance work is done on orders from
customers and is work that moves from one
place to another. All employees including new
trainees will work in a team and be assigned
tasks according to the instructions given by the
manager. Every new trainee needs to examine
the way of work by the supervisor before taking
over the work and take safety measures
throughout the work. Easy working procedures
while at AG M & E Services.

Air Conditioner
The main skill of this company is to
provide air conditioning installation
service including repair and cleaning for
indoor units as well as outdoor units. Fast
and neat installation methods are carried
out by the team and care about customer
satisfaction in terms of cleanliness after
installation. Have a skilled workforce to
repair any damage that occurs to the air
conditioner and always be careful when
performing normal service, which is by
cleaning the indoor unit components
such as filters, blowers so that there is no
dust attached. Repair, Install and Cleaning

Welding & Cutting

Welding and cutting steel one of the fields
closely related to Mechanical Engineering.
Orders from customers such as renovating their
workplace or repairing damage to iron will be
done as quickly as possible by workers to
avoid any injury to them. All workers are
concerned about safety when welding and
cutting steel at the customer's residence and
one of the procedures established by the
company AG M & E Services. Usually
customers who have just bought a house will
get the services of this company to do
renovations. Each new trainee will also be
given the opportunity to do welding work with Cutting, Grind, and Welding
guidance from the supervisor

Others
There are several other services performed by
this company such as repairing and servicing
elevator in buildings, piping systems and
repairing water tanks. The basic skills applied
during maintenance work are such as drilling.
This can make it easier for employees to start
their assigned tasks quickly and regularly.
Indirectly, new trainees can apply basic skills
such as drilling in the workplace. Other
knowledge such as repairing damage to the lift
is also one of the new knowledge that can be
learned to ensure that the elevator system
always works well for users

Wiring
The electrical field can be related to wiring
work for the installation of lights, speakers and
socket plugs. All trainees will be taught the real
way to install a socket plug or known as
"fitting". That is the beginner's way before
installing the fan on the ceiling so that there is
no short circuit due to wrong connection.
Usually, customers will ask to change
fluorescent lights to LED lights. New trainees
will also be taught how to change LED lights
by removing unnecessary components such as
starter choke and capacitor.

Wiring
Any damage to electrical components must be
caused by the distribution board (DB) which
causes a short circuit or burns. A neat and
systematic connection can prevent from melted
wires that can cause the entire distribution
board (DB) to explode. Therefore, every new
trainee will be given instructions when making
any wiring connections, whether installing fans
or speakers to avoid severe short circuits. Each
component identification in the distribution
board (DB) can be made into general
knowledge.

 CONCLUSION
As a conclusion, I learn so many things about industry. Mechanical
engineering had a wide scope of usefulness in real-life applications. In
this company, all technician always help me and give me more knowledge
about maintenance and electrical field. I’m so glad to be in this company. I
would like to give full appreciation to both of my industrial and faculty
supervisor. I also would like to thank to AG M & E Services for accepting
me as an industrial trainee. Finally, I’m ready to work and give full
responsibility if I’m given the opportunity to work in industry.
