The Sustainable Development Goals or Global
Goals are a collection of 17 interlinked global
goals designed to be a "blueprint to achieve a
better and more sustainable future for all". The
SDGs were set up in 2015 by the United
Nations General Assembly and are intended to
be achieved by the year 2030.
Why were they established?

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as the Global Goals, were
adopted by the United Nations in 2015 as a universal call to action to end poverty, protect
the planet, and ensure that by 2030 all people enjoy peace and prosperity.
