Cristo; dahil sa kanyang pag-ibig sa atin, inialay niya ang
kanyang buhay bilang mabangong alay at handog sa
Diyos.

mabanggit man lamang na kayo'y nakikiapid o
gumagawa ng anumang uri ng kahalayan o pag-iimbot.

UNITED METHODIST CHURCH
1. We are a religion of love.

•Our spiritual goal is to embody the love

of neighbor in a constant and consistent
fashion, but when people look at us, all
they see is the love of God shining forth
from us. This is our understanding of
God's grace working in us.
Our Language of Love is Service
• Methodists built churches.
• Methodists built hospitals.
• Methodists built schools.
• We, as United Methodists, have been consistently
challenging ourselves to be better, to live better, to
love better. And we know when we fail – and
historically we have failed to fully live into the
equitable love of God.

4. Our Doctrine
of Grace

• Ephesians 4:7
• But unto every one of
us is given grace
according to the
measure of the gift of
Christ.
 God at work before we know it: Prevenient grace.
Prevenient grace is the grace of the porch. It
prepares us to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ, and
to respond in faith.
Our By grace we are forgiven: Justifying grace.
Doctrine Justifying grace is the grace of the door. At the
moment of justification, we cross the threshold
of Grace from unbelief to belief.

Grace's power over sin: Sanctifying grace.

Sanctifying grace is the grace of the interior. Our
spiritual growth as followers of Jesus is a gift from
God.
