•RE-COMPACTION DONE BEFORE RIG MAT INSTALLATION, FDT TEST TAKEN AFTER COMPACTION ON 8TH OCT
BURHAAN- 2021.
•ON 13TH NOVEMBER 2021, RIG TEAM INFORMED (PDO AND CONTRACTOR SAROOJ) ABOUT THE ISSUE AND
REQUESTED FOR JOINT SITE VISIT TO INVESTIGATE THE SITUATION.
Location constructed one year back and this duration contribute Soil moisture content
increased due to frequent rain fall.
Location designed with no consideration given to potential rain, water drainage (topside
or subsurface side). The location design is flat, which restricts any top side runoff for
stagnant water.
The other natural cause identified where landscape wadi surrounding the location
(closest wadi, few meters away from pad) contributed to soil dampness,
The major cause we noticed while spotti ng to align Sub-Base, sub-base Tire moving very
close to the cellar wall and resting directly on Non-Structural Concrete which was done
to fill the gap in between cellar wall and rig mat, Due to higher moisture content
thereby transferring the load to cellar wall leading to cracks

• Agreed Action rectification:-
RECTIFICATION: • After spotting the sub-base notice soil level difference on hard stand and rig mat.
• It was agreed with concern team to grind the hard stand top surface to match the level within the
- tolerance.
• Unfortunately, not succeeded to fix the level issue. grinding operation didn’t work
• Final decision was taken on 05/12/2021 to Rig move out from cellar, rig mat area.
• Demolish hard stand and relace with mega deck rig mat, existing type c soil remove beneath the
rig mat and replace with Imported Material (Type A two layer)
