A COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAM

ABOUT US

OLD/USED CLOTHES DONATION DRIVE

This charitable act aims to cultivate a sense of

empathy and social responsibility among
participants by highlighting the challenges faced
by individuals who lack proper clothing. In this
way, we could garner community support for the
less fortunate, creating a network of individuals
dedicated to making a difference.

PLAN A
A donation drive with the involvement of AISAT
students and faculty.

We will offer boxes for each section in AISAT Davao, with a focus on first- to third-year
1 students, as well as the faculty room.

Before being collected, boxes will last in the selected rooms for two weeks. The boxes will be
2 checked and collected during the last day of the week.

Mayors will be provided with instructions or data sheet to track the number and type of
3 clothing gathered from their classroom.

4 The clothes collected will be properly sanitized and packed to be given to the NGO assigned
(Operation Blessing Foundation Philippines, Inc.)

If we do not collect the expected number of clothing, we will take an alternative step (bazaar).

PLAN B
A donation drive with bazaar
Procedures:
We will be advertising through social media an awareness post of our program. We are going
1 to ask for support from the people here in Davao City and encourage them to participate
through donating their old/unused clothes that is still usable for the bazaar.

The collection of the clothes is through meet-up depending on their location. The facilitator
2 closest to the person will be the one to collect the donation. A contact number and other
information will be provided.

3 After the collection phase, the clothes collected will be properly sanitized. During the bazaar,
we will be displaying and selling the clothes to the AISAT students. The location of the bazaar
event will be at the Aisat Homitori Parking Area (two parking spaces will be used for this
event).
The clothes that aren’t sold will be packed again for donation and the money from the bazaar
4 will be negotiated with the NGO depending on their needs such as health care, meals,
