What is a climate
emergency?
It is a situation in which urgent
measures are required to reduce or
stop climate change and avoid
potentially irreversible environmental
damage resulting from this process, the
main cause of these changes is the
increase in temperature due to this the
environment begins to degrade as well.
other factors get involved such as: food
and water insecurity, economic
disruption, conflicts and terrorism.
Another definition would be that it is
an event or situation that occurs
suddenly and requires immediate
attention.
Who is primarily responsible
for the climate emergency?

FOSSIL FUELS (COAL, OIL AND GAS)

ARE BY FAR THE LARGEST
CONTRIBUTORS TO GLOBAL CLIMATE
CHANGE, ACCOUNTING FOR MORE
THAN 75% OF GLOBAL GREENHOUSE
GAS EMISSIONS AND ALMOST 90%
OF ALL EMISSIONS OF CARBON
DIOXIDE FROM THESE DATA WE
REALIZE THAT THE INDUSTRIES ARE
NOT SO EFFICIENT SINCE THEY
LEAVE A TRACK OF WHAT THEY DO.
Weather catastrophes
Environmental
eee
problems
Enviromental problems
Can happen these 5 problems
1) Tree felling
2) Polluntion
3) Contaminated wáter
4) Plant extinction
5) Give it to ozone layer
Earthquakes
Happens when tectonic plates
Collide to form large earthquakes

This can cause that at the momento of

colliding it can cause a catastrophe and
collapse house in its path
VOLCANIC ERUPTION

Volcanic eruptions can cause the

displacement of people affected by the
situation of the eruption
What are the magnitudes of the climate?

Currently three temperature scales are used; degrees

Fahrenheit (ºF), Celsius (ºC) and Kelvin (ºK). Celsius
or Centigrade Degrees: It is a unit of measurement
most widely used worldwide and is represented by the
symbol ºC.
What is the easiest scale to measure
climate magnitudes?
The Celsius scale ( ° C \ degree C
°C ) takes into account the value
0 ° 0 \ degree 0° for the melting
point of water, while the boiling
point of water corresponds to 100
° 100 \ degree 100° .
