 Introduction
My name is Jeremie C. Torino, and my E-portfolio is
a representation of all that I’ve learned and
accomplished as a Mathematics major and taking
this course subject. The writings, outputs and all
the artifacts shows how my critical thinking skills
have evolve over the course of the program. "My Activities
personal philosophy when it comes to education and
learning is closely related to several cognitive
theories of motivation. I believe that what goes on
and
the classroom is my responsibility, and, by working
with students, all of us can create an ideal Reflection
environment for education, safety, understanding,
and even fun. By keeping things positive, I believe
that students will end up learning more and getting
more out of each and every lesson. This course
introduces the topic of authentic assessment to
would-be-teachers. It covers five (5) units all of
which contribute to the teachers understanding of
the concepts and principles that underlie authentic
assessment.

It is good to know the things, especially the basic concepts , theories

and many more about assessment because I learned that assessment is
a tool for knowing the progress of the students and also to help them
grow as a learner. I also learn the different principles and one of these
principles is the assessment is both process and product oriented.
Because today, we use an alternative method which rely on authentic
learning. Therefore, the students should learn how to process the
knowledge and provide a good output for it.

In this lesson I learned that, it is important to know and learn about the learning
targets of the lesson because this will help us teacher to know what is the process and
methods we should use in order to achieve that outcomes. Based on the activity, I
learned that the Learning outcomes should be connected with the course topic and then
the performance task should match the outcomes. The checklist helps me to create a
good and better assessment plan. Overall, this is worth to be applied in my skill.

In this lesson I learned how to create an assessment plan. But before that, I learned
that there are two types of performance task: the product based and performance
based. Among these two, product based is commonly used inside the classroom. And
most of our activity in this subject are product based assessment. As a future teacher,
I have made a development in my skills in creating assessment plan.

In this lesson, I Learned that portfolio is a collection of students works. Like this final
output, we are task to create an electronic portfolio wherein since the start of the
class I’ve collected and save all my works so that I will have all the artifacts that I
need. I want also to use this assessment to assess my student because it will enhance
both their affective, cognitive and psychomotor domain.
My Reflection
Rubric is important for student like me because it will guide us, that’s why I listen and
learn everything about this lesson so that someday I will be good at making rubric for
the performance of my students. I also learn how to create a rubric out of the topic
Group Research which help me to be knowledgeable with it.

This is the lesson that interested me more, because it has computations. I
As a student, I always want to received feedback because this will help me to
love math and it is important for me to know how to integrate math in grow and develop what my mistakes is. So, everything in this lesson is worth learning
