Extracurricular Activities (EA)

From sports like Ballet, Karate, Zumba, and Hip-Hop to cultural

pursuits such as Music, Inventors (inventions), and Yeah Science
(scientific experiments), our school provides a rich tapestry of
opportunities for students to explore their passions and talents.

Between the 18th and 25th, we open our doors to all students who
wish to participate in open classes, allowing them to discover new
interests and engage in enriching experiences.

Classroom Theme:

Enchanting Stories (princesses and knights)

In this classroom, children will immerse themselves in fairy tales

where princesses and knights embark on magical adventures.
Besides stimulating their imagination, these stories often convey
values such as courage, respect, and justice.

CLASSR

Time Out

Additionally, we have a designated desk where children can have a

moment of "time out" when they become overly excited.

This brief interlude, lasting for 10 minutes, allows children to calm

down and reflect on specific behaviors or feelings of frustration.

During this time, children engage in the same activities as their

peers but in an individual setting, without interaction with the
group, offering them an opportunity to regain composure and self-
awareness.
SPACE
School uniforms and personal items

The only labeled items children are required to bring from home
are:
• their backpack
• pencil case
• oral hygiene kit (with a toothbrush and toothpaste, along with a
cup)
• a plastic apron for craft activities
• and a water bottle.

Additionally, each child is expected to have the mandatory school

uniform, including a T-shirt, polo shirt, parka, and hat.
SUPPLI
ES
Our assessment system is holistic, encompassing both behavioral
aspects (attendance, punctuality, behavior, participation, and
dedication) and academic aspects, ensuring a comprehensive
understanding of the curriculum.

In addition to traditional tests, we employ a variety of assessment

instruments, including presentations, group projects, in-class
productions, notebooks, and portfolios.

Regardless of the method, our fundamental goal is to support and

empower our students to become the best versions of themselves
through assessment.
EVALUA
TION
School Reports

Regarding the delivery of assessment reports, our tutor teachers, in

collaboration with the rest of the pedagogical team, prepare school
assessment reports.

These reports are sent to Parents at the beginning of the 2nd Term,
the start of the 3rd Term, and in early July (the final report).

EVALUA
TION
Grading scale

Academic tests and assignments are assessed according to a

grading scale.

EVALUA
TION
Currently, we are in the process of transitioning to a new digital
application called ChildDiary, aiming to maintain and enhance the
same functionalities we previously had with Educabiz.

This includes:
• daily school reports
• attendance and punctuality records
• access to daily menus and other school documents
• as well as messaging capabilities.

COMMUNIC
ATION
As educators committed to creating an inclusive environment and
providing differentiated instruction, we actively collaborate when
working with children who have Special Educational Needs.

Our approach involves forming a team, which includes the family

and other specialized professionals, to ensure the child's smooth
integration into the class.

REGULA
Our school has an Internal Regulation document that governs the
functioning of the school. This document is accessible and publicly
available on the school's website.

SCHOOL
REGULATI
ON
Students are expected to arrive at school before the start of the
academic activities (9 a.m.) and should only be picked up after the end
of classes (3:30 p.m.).

Children who do not arrive by 10 a.m. without prior notification will

not be able to attend school, as the student count has already been
provided to the school kitchen. We fully understand occasional delays
with valid reasons, but systematic lateness, apart from affecting the
child's own routine, can also disrupt the learning experience for the
entire class.

Regarding absences, they should occur only due to significant reasons,

such as sudden illness, and it is the responsibility of parents to inform
the tutor teacher and provide a medical justification. ATTENDA
NCE
Children may enter the school after 8 a.m. and can remain until 7 p.m.
Occasionally, they may enter before 8 a.m. or leave after 7 p.m. with
prior notification and a valid reason. In such cases, an additional fee is
charged for extended hours.

EXTENDE
D HOURS
Students are not allowed to bring food from home, except for those
staying after 6 p.m., in which case they are requested to bring healthy
snacks, avoiding overly salty or sugary items.

If there are any dietary restrictions, these should be communicated to

the Tutor Teacher, who will ensure the information is shared with the
rest of the team.

We would like to emphasize that our menus are carefully designed by

a nutritionist. We prioritize fresh ingredients, and all meals are
prepared daily on-site.

MEALS
Wearing the school uniform on a daily basis is not mandatory.
However, it is compulsory for children to be appropriately dressed in
the school uniform during outings to ensure proper identification.
