Waste management is the process of collecting, treating, disposing
of, and recycling waste materials in a systematic and
environmentally responsible manner. It involves various activities
aimed at minimizing the adverse effects of waste on human health
and the environment. An effective waste management system is
crucial for maintaining a clean and sustainable environment.
INTRODUCTION The primary goals of a waste management system are to reduce
the amount of waste generated, maximize resource recovery
through recycling and reuse, and ensure proper disposal of non-
recyclable waste in a manner that minimizes harm to the
environment. Waste management systems vary in their methods
and infrastructure, depending on the region and level of
development.
A waste management system refers to the set of processes,
policies, and infrastructure designed to handle and dispose of
waste materials in an efficient, environmentally friendly, and

BACKGROUND sustainable manner. It involves the collection, transportation,

treatment, and disposal of various types of waste, including solid
waste, liquid waste, and hazardous waste. The goal of a waste
management system is to minimize the negative impact of waste
on public health, the environment, and natural resources.
The primary objective of any waste management system is to
minimize the amount of waste generated.

A key objective is to ensure that waste is disposed of in a safe and

environmentally responsible manner

OBJECTIVES
Another important objective is to maximize the recovery of
valuable resources from waste through recycling and other
resource recovery techniques.

Effective waste management systems aim to promote waste

separation at the source
Inadequate waste collection and disposal

Limited recycling and resource recovery

ECONOMICAL Our project is economically feasible since

FEASIBILITY it doesn’t necessarily require any extra device

to work since it can work on website.

TIME Our system is supposed to be completed in

FEASIBILITY time i.e., 3 months from the start of the day of

the project (acceptance of project proposal).
SYSTEM The minimum requirement for this project is
device which have browser and internet
REQUIREMENT connection.
INTRODUCTION

Literature review is searching for similar system

and identifying the difference between
researcher’s projects with existing systems. This
helps to get a deep idea of the project. It provides

subject. There is need to gather the information
according to the project. This chapter describes
how this app is different from other similar
system.
For this project, we researched YouTube, Github and other
websites. Throughout the research, we get to find out that there are
lots of applications related to waste management.

LITERATURE We found lot’s of similar website related to waste management

website and we found that they were not so user friendly. So we

went through various videos and websites and learn to use
different categories from different videos and website projects.

Our website will not ask for extra permission like storage and
other device permission.
The project will be developed using the Waterfall
methodology which is a traditional project
management approach used in software
development and other industries. It is
characterized by a linear and sequential process,
where progress flows steadily downwards, similar
METHODOLOGY to a waterfall.
The project is divided into distinct phases, and
each phase must be completed before moving on
to the next one. The typical phases include
requirements gathering, system design,
implementation, testing, deployment, and
maintenance.

ANALYSIS
In conclusion, implementing an effective waste management
system is crucial for creating a sustainable and environmentally
conscious society. Such a system aims to minimize the generation
CONCLUSION of waste, maximize resource recovery, and ensure the safe
disposal of residual waste. By adopting comprehensive waste
management practices, we can mitigate the negative impacts of
waste on the environment, human health, and natural resources.
